Responsibilities
- Design, build, orchestrate, and manage end-to-end data pipelines.
- Develop scalable and maintainable data transformation workflows using dbt.
- Participate in the full software and data development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.
- Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance across data platforms.
- Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following engineering best practices.
- Work with structured and semi-structured data for analytics and reporting.
- Troubleshoot and optimize existing data pipelines and workflows.
- Develop, test, and maintain data engineering solutions using Python.
Requirements
- BE, BTech, or MCA qualification.
- Three to five years of relevant industry and hands-on data engineering experience.
- Experience with dbt for data transformation and modeling.
- Experience building and managing end-to-end data pipelines.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Google BigQuery.
- Experience with Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing, ETL/ELT, and Star/Snowflake schema design.
- Proficiency in Python for data engineering and automation.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt to a fast-paced development environment.
- Preferred qualifications include Wealth and Asset Management data domain experience, client management and stakeholder communication skills, Agile delivery experience, and exposure to cloud-based data platforms and modern data architecture.
