Base Salary
$160k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Help design an architecture incorporating multiple AI models, backend APIs, and a frontend web application.
- Write maintainable software within a small technical team while balancing velocity and quality.
- Work with users and teammates to define and refine product requirements and translate them into a roadmap and code.
- Contribute to company strategy, culture, architecture, processes, and other responsibilities as the company evolves.
- Communicate complex technical concepts across the team and lead product efforts involving members with varying levels of technical literacy.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship is required due to U.S. government contract obligations and ITAR/EAR export control regulations.
- At least four years of professional software engineering experience is required.
- Experience with NLP problems and toolsets, system design, interacting with end users, LLMs, and AI application techniques is required.
- Proficiency in Python and TypeScript is required.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices is required.
- Strong written and verbal communication, initiative, ownership, and the ability to work independently are required.
- Experience in defense, intelligence, national security, regulated operational domains, early-stage startups, document processing pipelines, information extraction, or compliance workflows is desired.
