Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain production-grade full stack applications.
  • Own or lead complex features and solutions spanning user interfaces, backend services, APIs, databases, cloud services, and system integrations.
  • Lead or contribute to software architecture and high-level technical design decisions.
  • Design scalable APIs, service architectures, data architectures, cloud application architectures, and deployment strategies.
  • Contribute to CI/CD, automated testing, containerization, infrastructure as code, observability, security, and DevOps practices.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize application reliability and performance across application, database, and infrastructure layers.
  • Collaborate with customers, product owners, designers, architects, and stakeholders to translate requirements into solutions.
  • Provide estimates, identify risks and dependencies, communicate trade-offs, and support project planning and delivery.
  • Conduct code and design reviews, mentor less-experienced developers, and provide technical guidance.
  • Evaluate technologies and recommend tools and approaches based on project needs.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of professional software development experience with substantial hands-on full stack experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with at least one modern front-end framework and one modern backend language, framework, or runtime.
  • Experience designing full stack architectures and making or leading technical decisions for production systems.
  • Experience leading technical delivery, mentoring developers, setting engineering direction, conducting reviews, or acting as a technical lead.
  • Strong experience designing and integrating APIs and services, including scalability, reliability, security, maintainability, and system boundaries.
  • Strong experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases, data modeling, query performance, and application data access.
  • Strong hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform: Microsoft Azure, AWS, or GCP.
  • Working knowledge of Git, CI/CD, automated testing, containers, deployment, monitoring, and operational troubleshooting.
  • Experience with secure software development, authentication, authorization, encryption, data protection, secrets management, and secure application design.
  • Experience defining or improving automated testing strategies across unit, integration, API, or end-to-end layers.
  • Ability to solve ambiguous technical problems, transfer concepts across technology stacks, learn unfamiliar technologies, and communicate trade-offs.
  • Experience working with customers or business stakeholders on requirements, solution design, estimation, planning, and technical recommendations.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Preferred experience with infrastructure as code, Docker, Kubernetes, cloud-native platforms, distributed architectures, mobile development, multiple cloud platforms, hybrid cloud/on-premises systems, consulting, project-based engineering, SaaS, IoT, B2B, or B2C environments.
