Base Salary

$106k - $160k/yr

Responsibilities

Design and build cloud-native services and platform capabilities using Java and AWS.
Prototype and productionize AI-powered solutions using AWS Bedrock and modern LLMs.
Improve engineering productivity through automation and AI-assisted development.
Partner with architecture and product teams to solve complex eCommerce challenges.
Manage and optimize Akamai/CDN and edge capabilities.
Build integrations using APIs, serverless services, and event-driven architectures.
Evaluate emerging AI technologies and recommend practical adoption.
Contribute code daily and mentor engineers through example.

At least 3 years of software engineering experience.
Strong hands-on Java engineering experience and experience building applications on AWS.
Experience with eCommerce or other high-scale customer-facing platforms.
Experience building APIs, microservices, and cloud-native services.
Experience creating proof-of-concepts or technical prototypes.
Strong debugging, problem-solving, communication, ownership, and rapid-learning skills.
Familiarity with Amazon Bedrock or other generative AI platforms.
Preferred experience with Amazon Bedrock, agentic development workflows, Akamai/CDN technologies, infrastructure as code, Docker or Kubernetes, SAP Commerce or Shopify, and Angular or Spartacus.
