Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for SAP Commerce Cloud applications.
- Support SAP Commerce Cloud environments across development, QA, staging, and production.
- Automate deployments using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar platforms.
- Configure and maintain SAP Commerce Cloud build and deployment pipelines.
- Troubleshoot deployment, configuration, and environment issues with SAP Commerce developers.
- Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Monitor application health, cloud resources, and platform performance.
- Implement security best practices, secrets management, and DevSecOps processes within deployment pipelines.
- Manage Git repositories, branching strategies, pull request workflows, automated code reviews, and version control practices.
- Design, develop, customize, and maintain SAP Commerce Cloud applications and extensions.
- Develop OCC REST APIs, business processes, CronJobs, FlexibleSearch queries, Impex scripts, Backoffice configurations, SmartEdit components, Solr indexing, and CMS functionality.
- Build responsive Spartacus and Angular storefront applications integrated with SAP Commerce OCC APIs.
- Develop reusable frontend components and optimize performance through lazy loading, server-side rendering, caching, and Angular practices.
- Use AI-assisted development tools for code generation, refactoring, documentation, testing, debugging, root cause analysis, API development, and code review.
- Contribute to engineering automation, DevSecOps, infrastructure-as-code, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3–6 years of DevOps, cloud engineering, or infrastructure engineering experience.
- At least 2 years supporting SAP Commerce Cloud (CCv2) or SAP Commerce (Hybris) environments.
- Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Framework, SAP Commerce Cloud, OCC APIs, Spartacus, Angular, RESTful APIs, SQL, and object-oriented programming.
- Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD and strong knowledge of Git version control.
- Knowledge of DNS, SSL/TLS, VPNs, firewalls, reverse proxies, and load balancing.
- Experience with monitoring and logging platforms such as CloudWatch, Splunk, and Grafana.
- Familiarity with Java application deployments and Maven or Gradle.
- Experience administering SAP Commerce Cloud environments and knowledge of its Portal, Build Pipeline, and Environment Management.
- Familiarity with Azure Key Vault and AWS Secrets Manager.
- Experience with SonarQube, Nexus, or Artifactory.
- Knowledge of OAuth2, SSO, JWT, and security best practices.
- Preferred experience in high-scale retail or eCommerce environments and exposure to AI-driven commerce capabilities.
- GitHub Foundations or GitHub Copilot certification or training is preferred.
- SAP Commerce Cloud, AWS, or AI-related certifications are a plus.
- Experience with Agile, Scrum, DevOps-centered delivery models, microservices-based architecture, and API gateways is preferred.
