Responsibilities
- Lead architecture, design, and implementation of full-stack systems using TypeScript, React, and Go.
- Own complex ServiceNow development initiatives, including custom applications and enterprise integrations.
- Drive adoption of internal developer platform templates, shared CI/CD pipelines, and Terraform modules.
- Partner with central platform teams by providing feedback, influencing roadmaps, and contributing improvements to shared templates and modules.
- Develop agentic and AI capabilities, including AI agents, MCP servers, and LLM-powered features.
- Own production readiness for team services across observability, reliability, security, and performance.
- Mentor and develop engineers through design reviews, pairing, and technical guidance.
- Partner with product stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of professional software development experience, including ownership of production systems at scale.
- Expert-level proficiency in TypeScript and React and strong backend experience with Go.
- Deep understanding of system design, API architecture, security, and performance optimization.
- Proven success operating in a DevOps or self-service environment where product teams own infrastructure and delivery pipelines.
- Demonstrated technical leadership through end-to-end project ownership, standards-setting, and engineer mentoring.
- Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Preferred qualifications include ServiceNow development and integration experience, deep CI/CD expertise such as GitHub Actions, Terraform or similar infrastructure-as-code expertise, experience with internal developer portals such as Backstage, and production experience building agentic or AI systems; AWS Bedrock experience is a strong differentiator.
