Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership across enterprise SaaS platforms and strategic engineering initiatives.
- Drive Java-based platform architecture, distributed systems design, and cloud-native service development.
- Lead architecture and technical strategy across multiple teams or product areas.
- Design and operate distributed systems in cloud environments.
- Drive technical standards, architecture reviews, and engineering best practices across the organization.
- Partner with Engineering, Product, Security, and Architecture leaders to guide platform evolution.
- Deliver secure, scalable, and highly available software across multiple products and teams.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of software engineering experience building SaaS applications, distributed systems, or enterprise software platforms.
- At least 4 years of experience developing production applications using Java.
- Experience leading architecture and technical strategy across multiple teams or product areas.
- Experience designing and operating distributed systems in cloud environments.
- Experience driving technical standards, architecture reviews, and engineering best practices across an organization.
- Preferred experience with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Hibernate, Kafka, or similar Java ecosystem technologies.
- Preferred experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Preferred experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, or Oracle relational databases.
- Preferred experience leading platform modernization, cloud transformation, or large-scale architecture initiatives.
- Preferred experience with cloud-native architectures, microservices, event-driven systems, AI-enabled production software, and AI-assisted development tools.
