Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered applications using Claude, Azure OpenAI, OpenAI, and Azure AI Services.
- Partner with business stakeholders to define problems, validate workflows, prototype solutions, and convert successful concepts into production capabilities.
- Build RAG solutions, prompt frameworks, AI workflows, autonomous or agentic systems, and human-in-the-loop controls.
- Develop full-stack applications using React, TypeScript, Python, C#, Java, Node.js, and .NET.
- Design REST APIs, microservices, event-driven architectures, and enterprise integration patterns.
- Integrate AI capabilities with ServiceNow, Salesforce, Snowflake, Databricks, Power BI, and other enterprise platforms.
- Develop cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure using secure engineering and DevOps practices.
- Build CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, containerized workloads, and Kubernetes deployments.
- Serve as technical owner for assigned applications or platforms and establish architecture standards, engineering guardrails, SLOs, and production-readiness criteria.
- Lead modernization, technical debt reduction, resiliency improvements, design reviews, incident resolution, and root-cause prevention.
- Mentor engineers and influence architecture, security, data, product, and delivery decisions across teams.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience developing enterprise-scale applications.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Hands-on experience building and deploying applications with Java, Node.js, C#, Python, or comparable backend technologies.
- Experience developing modern front-end applications with React and TypeScript.
- Experience designing and consuming REST APIs, microservices, and enterprise integrations.
- Experience developing cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with CI/CD, source control, automated testing, SDLC, and Agile practices.
- Experience acting as a technical lead or primary owner for an enterprise application, service, or platform.
- Experience designing scalable architectures, documenting trade-offs, and supporting production systems.
- Ability to turn ambiguous business needs into delivered technical solutions.
- Preferred experience with Azure AI Services, Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, Cognitive Services, and enterprise AI platforms.
- Preferred experience building generative AI solutions with Azure OpenAI, OpenAI, Claude, or comparable LLM platforms.
- Preferred programming experience with Python, C#, TypeScript, JavaScript, Java, and .NET technologies.
- Preferred experience with Databricks, Snowflake, governed enterprise data and analytics platforms, RAG, semantic search, vector databases, AI orchestration, agentic AI, guardrails, evaluation, and human-in-the-loop workflows.
- Preferred experience with Salesforce platform development, ServiceNow workflows and integrations, Power BI, Docker, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, Azure Monitor, and Application Insights.
- Knowledge of distributed systems, event-driven architecture, asynchronous processing, and resiliency patterns is preferred.
- Preferred experience leading application modernization, cloud transformation, or platform engineering initiatives.
- Experience in healthcare, specialty pharmacy, regulated industries, or high-compliance environments is preferred.
