Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and support ServiceNow solutions across ITSM and HRSD.
- Build custom applications on the ServiceNow Platform using App Studio.
- Design and architect integrations using Integration Hub, custom APIs, and enterprise integration patterns.
- Develop advanced scripts, Script Includes, Business Rules, and Client Scripts.
- Design and orchestrate workflows using Flow Designer.
- Build modern user experiences with UI Builder and Next Experience.
- Develop and maintain custom portal widgets for Employee Center Pro.
- Configure and support Playbooks for structured agent processes.
- Perform front-end and back-end development beyond the ServiceNow platform.
- Support adoption of NowAssist and other ServiceNow AI capabilities.
- Ensure data security, role-based access, and compliance across platform solutions.
- Partner with architects, product owners, and stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and platform governance.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of overall IT experience.
- At least 4 years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
- ServiceNow platform development and administration experience.
- Experience with ITSM, ITOM fundamentals, and HRSD.
- Advanced ServiceNow scripting experience, including JavaScript, Script Includes, Business Rules, and Client Scripts.
- Experience with Flow Designer and advanced workflow orchestration.
- Experience with App Studio, Integration Hub, UI Builder, Next Experience, Playbooks, and NowAssist Fundamentals.
- Proven experience with both ServiceNow platform development and full-stack development.
- Front-end experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frameworks.
- Back-end development experience with REST/SOAP API integration and SQL/NoSQL database design and querying.
- Experience with version control and CI/CD practices, such as Git.
- Experience delivering ServiceNow solutions across ITSM and/or HRSD.
- Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and stakeholder-partnership skills.
