Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy agentic AI systems and LLM-powered applications with multi-step workflows, tool use, and orchestration.
- Develop end-to-end retrieval-augmented generation solutions, including ingestion, chunking, embeddings, vector indexing, retrieval tuning, and response grounding.
- Build and maintain data pipelines, data models, feature stores, and vector stores for analytics, machine learning, and GenAI workloads.
- Develop full-stack applications, responsive chat and copilot interfaces, backend services, and RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
- Integrate applications with LLM APIs, relational databases, data platforms, and vector databases while optimizing latency, data access, and inference costs.
- Implement MLOps and LLMOps practices, including model and prompt versioning, evaluation pipelines, monitoring, drift and hallucination detection, and automated releases.
- Implement CI/CD, automated testing, infrastructure as code, and observability across applications, data pipelines, and AI services.
- Troubleshoot production issues across data quality, model behavior, API performance, and user interfaces.
- Use AI-assisted development tools and help establish team standards for their use.
- Participate in design and code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and promote engineering and AI best practices.
- Partner with product owners, designers, analysts, and data scientists to translate business needs into AI-enabled solutions.
- Ensure solutions meet security, privacy, compliance, HIPAA, and responsible AI requirements.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of professional software engineering experience building full-stack applications and delivering AI/ML-enabled solutions to production.
- Proficiency in at least one backend language such as Python, Java, or Node.js/TypeScript and one frontend framework such as React, Angular, or Vue.
- Hands-on experience building and deploying agentic AI solutions, using orchestration frameworks such as LangChain or LangGraph and integrating LLM APIs.
- Experience building data pipelines for ML/AI workloads, including feature engineering, embedding generation, and vector database integration for RAG.
- Experience designing RESTful APIs and microservices, including authentication, authorization, API security, and service-to-service integration.
- At least 6 years of experience with SQL and relational database management systems, including schema design and query optimization.
- At least 3 years of experience with cloud platforms or data engineering platforms such as AWS, GCP, Azure, Databricks, or Snowflake.
- Familiarity with MLOps and LLMOps practices, model versioning, monitoring, and production ML/AI pipeline support.
- Experience with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Git-based workflows, and automated testing.
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting data, application, and AI system issues and improving performance across data, backend, frontend, and inference layers.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Preferred qualifications include healthcare data or insurance-feed experience, conversational or GenAI interfaces, prompt engineering, model evaluation, fine-tuning, AI governance, streaming architectures, Terraform, observability tooling, and AI coding assistants.
- Strong ownership, collaboration, process improvement, and communication skills, including explaining complex technical and AI concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
