Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Build and architect the enterprise-scale Service Qualification (OSQAR) system using AI.
- Lead Agile Scrum teams by providing architectural guidance, technical direction, and solutions to complex business problems.
- Design end-to-end solutions with Solutions Architects, Product Management, Product Owners, and Scrum teams.
- Write low-level designs and Architecture Runway enablers for new features and capabilities.
- Ensure designs comply with the Service Assurance Standard Operating Model and Verizon North Star Architecture.
- Own solution delivery across strategic cross-functional projects, including quality, schedule, business expectations, and budget.
- Define, design, and establish proof-of-concept environments.
- Review High-Level Approach documents and develop detailed API, data-format, integration, non-functional, and performance specifications.
- Explore new technologies and use cases and participate in the Early Engagement process.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of relevant work experience.
- Four or more years of relevant experience demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience.
- Hands-on software development expertise in Java and Python.
- Experience with agentic coding environments such as Claude Code CLI or Gemini Code Assist/Gemini CLI, including software orchestration and guardrail design.
- Experience designing and developing systems with JavaScript, JMS, microservices, RESTful and SOAP web services, XML, JSON, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker containers, relational databases, jQuery, React, and Node.js.
- Experience designing large-scale, real-time, mission-critical, cloud-based architectures and solving complex business problems.
- Preferred: master’s degree in computer science or a related field, enterprise software engineering experience, telecom network technology experience, cloud application deployment experience, technical team leadership, and strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
