Responsibilities
- Lead architecture, design, and implementation of full-stack systems using TypeScript, React, and Go.
- Own complex ServiceNow development initiatives, custom applications, and enterprise integrations.
- Drive adoption of Backstage-based IDP templates, shared CI/CD pipelines, and Terraform modules.
- Partner with central platform teams to provide feedback, influence roadmaps, and improve shared templates and modules.
- Develop agentic and AI product capabilities, including AI agents, MCP servers, and LLM-powered features.
- Own production readiness for services, including observability, reliability, security, and performance.
- Mentor engineers through design reviews, pairing, and technical guidance.
- Partner with product stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 6 years of professional software development experience, including ownership of production systems at scale.
- Expert-level TypeScript and React proficiency with strong backend experience in Go.
- Deep understanding of system design, API architecture, security, and performance optimization.
- Experience operating in a DevOps or self-service environment where product teams own infrastructure and delivery pipelines.
- Demonstrated technical leadership through end-to-end project ownership, standards-setting, and engineer mentoring.
- Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Preferred qualifications include ServiceNow development and integration experience, GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD expertise, Terraform or similar infrastructure-as-code expertise, Backstage experience, and production experience building agentic or LLM applications.
- AWS Bedrock experience is a strong differentiator.
