$203k - $274k/yr
Responsibilities
- Drive significant technology initiatives end-to-end across multiple architectural layers.
- Architect and develop scalable applications and systems.
- Design and implement durable, secure, maintainable software solutions that interact with numerous other systems.
- Provide application development, platform development, and developer-tool recommendations and best practices.
- Identify opportunities to enhance applications with AI technology and launch AI integrations in production.
- Evaluate AI integration performance and user satisfaction using appropriate metrics.
- Work with global, cross-functional teams across time zones.
- Coach and mentor junior engineers on software engineering, AI integration, and technical practices.
Requirements
- BS/MS in Computer Science or a related area, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of experience delivering enterprise-class applications.
- Experience writing scalable application code with accessibility, internationalization, and instrumentation considerations.
- Experience with cross-browser, cross-platform, web, and mobile design constraints.
- Knowledge of algorithms and design patterns.
- Proficiency with mid-tier languages such as Java.
- Experience with test automation, including unit, integration, functional, and performance testing.
- Experience with relational database design and implementation, SQL, NoSQL, analytics, microservices, containers, Kubernetes or similar container management systems, and cloud environments.
- Experience building and deploying applications and services in cloud environments.
- Experience building or integrating functional AI models using LLM prompting or AutoML modeling techniques.
- Experience evaluating and monitoring AI technology performance in production.
- Ability to collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and software engineers.
