$203k - $274k/yr
Responsibilities
- Solve ambiguous customer problems with robust AI-native technical solutions.
- Design and implement intelligent systems and AI-native workflows from concept through production.
- Build solutions using LLM orchestration, multi-agent systems, retrieval, tool use, evaluation, automation, and human-in-the-loop collaboration.
- Lead technical design, architecture, peer reviews, engineering standards, and cross-team technical strategy.
- Drive instrumentation, offline evaluations, online experimentation, safety, quality, and observability for production AI systems.
- Mentor engineers, solve complex programming challenges, and promote AI-assisted development practices.
- Contribute to the architecture of the Mid-Market intelligence platform.
- Resolve defects across testing, pre-production, production, and post-release phases.
- Partner with product management, design, and business units to influence product and technical solutions.
- Use Agile and Scrum methodologies to support iterative delivery and cross-functional alignment.
Requirements
- BS or MS in Computer Science or a related area, or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of experience architecting and developing high-scale distributed systems and web applications.
- 7+ years of experience with object-oriented languages and strong design and coding skills in Java and Python.
- Strong applied AI background spanning traditional ML and generative AI, with hands-on agentic experience preferred.
- Experience with LLM APIs, orchestration frameworks, prompt and context engineering, RAG/retrieval, tool use and function calling, multi-agent architectures, and evaluation or guardrail frameworks.
- Experience with data processing and movement technologies such as Spark/PySpark, Kafka, and feature or vector stores.
- Experience instrumenting, evaluating, and iterating on production AI systems through offline evaluations, online experimentation, and quality or safety monitoring.
- Experience using AI-driven tools to accelerate software development.
- Proven test automation experience, including TDD and comprehensive integration testing.
- Strong background in relational database design and large-scale data implementation.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers, lead technical discussions, and drive cross-functional alignment.
- Excellent communication skills and deep understanding of software engineering fundamentals.
