Base Salary
$207k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define technical roadmaps and deliver models and agents for automated policy enforcement, increased engineering velocity, and reduced user harm.
- Prototype and experiment with architectural options for AI- and LLM-based consumer trust enforcement.
- Design architecture improvements for multi-tiered systems handling massive query volumes and complex policy cases.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance large-scale software solutions.
- Provide technical leadership, mentor distributed engineering teams, and align stakeholders on goals, outcomes, and timelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in software development.
- 5 years of experience testing and launching software products.
- 5 years of full-stack development experience across back-end languages such as Java, Python, Golang, or C++ and front-end technologies including JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
- 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
- Experience integrating generative AI tools or LLM interfaces into workflows.
- Preferred: 5 years leading technical project strategy, ML design, and industry-scale ML infrastructure optimization, including model deployment, model evaluation, data processing, debugging, and fine-tuning.
- Preferred: 5 years of experience with reinforcement learning, ML infrastructure, or another ML specialization.
- Preferred: experience with Generative AI, LLMs, prompt engineering, and model distillation, or the ability to rapidly master and guide architectures in these areas.
- Excellent communication skills with cross-functional, privacy, and legal partners.
Benefits
- US base salary of $207000 - $300000 plus a 20% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
