Responsibilities
- Design and implement firmware for 5G NR modems, including control flows, scheduling, and state machines.
- Implement features based on 3GPP specifications covering 5G NR, LTE, and multi-RAT operation.
- Collaborate with modem systems, vFW, PHY, and hardware teams to define and integrate end-to-end solutions.
- Debug complex issues involving firmware, hardware, and system interactions.
- Participate in bring-up, integration, and feature commercialization for new modem platforms.
- Contribute to design discussions, code reviews, and technical problem solving.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or an equivalent qualifying degree or experience path.
- Strong programming skills in C.
- 0–6 years of experience with embedded systems or firmware development.
- Understanding of real-time systems, interrupts, concurrency, and low-level control logic.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Preferred qualifications include cellular modem experience with 5G NR or LTE, system firmware, schedulers, control-plane logic, 3GPP specifications, hardware registers, DMA, timers, and performance, latency, or power optimization.
