Responsibilities
- Develop real-time software for Qualcomm AI DSPs supporting generative AI models on Snapdragon platforms.
- Develop core Qualcomm AI Stack runtime components for inference on low-power, resource-constrained AI systems.
- Validate, analyze, and optimize machine learning software performance and accuracy through detailed testing.
- Debug complex issues, perform root-cause analysis, and ensure system reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and global AI teams to deliver scalable software solutions.
- Participate in design reviews, code reviews, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, with 4+ years of related experience; alternatively, a master’s degree with 3+ years or a PhD with 2+ years.
- 7+ years of general software development experience or 4+ years of related experience on AI DSP systems.
- Proficiency in C/C++ software development and experience developing in a Linux environment.
- Strong skills in data structures, algorithms, software design, debugging, and testing.
- Preferred qualifications include 3+ years of embedded software development, familiarity with LLM architectures, hardware acceleration and edge-device AI inference, and experience with Linux, Android, or Windows platforms.
- Experience with agile software development practices and Git-based source-code management is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across globally diverse teams are required.
