Responsibilities
- Develop and integrate low-level embedded firmware for silicon validation and bring-up.
- Build drivers, diagnostic tests, and validation infrastructure for SoC functionality, conformance, performance, and debugging.
- Collaborate with logic designers to understand system-level operations and hardware performance requirements.
- Perform hands-on firmware development and system-level validation at the hardware-software interface.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of embedded firmware development experience in real-time or embedded environments.
- Strong proficiency in C and understanding of hardware-software interaction.
- Hands-on experience with hardware-software integration, particularly silicon validation and bring-up.
- Exceptional firmware- and hardware-level debugging skills.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred: experience with pre-silicon and post-silicon validation methodologies, ARM CPU architectures, low-level system programming, and SoC development or validation.
