$174k - $299k/yr
Responsibilities
- Pioneer advanced AI engineering for e-commerce scenarios at Coupang
- Develop innovative optimization techniques for AI reasoning and token completion models
- Extract structured, high-quality product information from images and unstructured text
- Generate product images and videos to improve customer experience
- Build chatbots that accurately answer product-related questions
- Design and implement algorithms and systems independently
- Run experiments, analyze results, and iterate on improvements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
- 8+ years of relevant experience
- 5+ years of experience in AI/ML and familiarity with current deep learning techniques
- 10+ years of experience in technology companies or organizations preferred
- Knowledge of e-commerce or eagerness to learn preferred
- Industry experience applying large language models or large image models preferred
- Ability to independently design and implement high-quality algorithms and systems
- Ability to analyze algorithms and systems deeply and generate improvement ideas
- Ability to run experiments efficiently, analyze results, and iterate quickly
- Track record of delivering significant business impact through technology innovation preferred
- Excellent communication and collaboration across teams and functions
