Responsibilities
- Define and evolve Gong’s cloud and infrastructure architecture.
- Identify and resolve cross-team technical debt and operational inefficiencies.
- Influence architectural decisions and ensure solutions are scalable and secure.
- Provide frameworks and tooling direction to empower engineering teams.
- Drive major initiatives around reliability, scalability, and cost optimization.
Requirements
- 8+ years of hands-on experience with AWS and cloud-native infrastructure.
- Strong expertise in Kubernetes and distributed systems.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code and GitOps methodologies.
- Programming experience in Python or Go.
- Proven experience leading cross-team initiatives without direct authority.
- Experience supporting AI/ML infrastructure is a plus.
