Base Salary
$153k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build stable and intuitive Android experiences using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and modern Android APIs
- Lead product features from ideation and technical design through implementation, testing, and release
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and data scientists
- Champion engineering practices that support code quality, scalability, and maintainability
- Mentor junior developers and elevate team standards and collaboration
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience developing Android applications
- Proficiency with Kotlin and/or Java and strong knowledge of the Android SDK and architecture patterns such as MVVM
- Experience with Jetpack Compose, Coroutines and Flow or RxJava, Retrofit, and Room
- Ability to mentor peers, lead complex projects, and influence architecture decisions
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with a product-focused mindset
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
