Base Salary
$176k - $191k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and ship context aggregation solutions, MCPs, CLIs, skills, and sub-agents that connect AI coding tools with Wonder’s codebases, services, and systems.
- Help define and build autonomous development agents and cloud agent solutions.
- Develop AI-assisted workflows for code generation, review, testing, documentation, refactoring, and on-call or incident management.
- Build pre-review and triage tooling and help establish standards for reviewing AI-generated code.
- Design systems that optimize AI costs and route tasks to appropriate models.
- Define and measure developer velocity while partnering with platform, infrastructure, and application teams.
- Scope, design, document, and ship developer tooling with minimal oversight.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, including recent hands-on work with LLM-based tooling such as agents, MCP servers, or coding assistants.
- Direct experience integrating AI tools into development workflows beyond individual end-user use.
- Strong system design skills and experience owning tools or platforms from design through adoption.
- Experience designing and consuming APIs, webhooks, or other integration and message-based systems.
- Experience building developer tooling, internal platforms, CI/CD systems, or software primarily used by engineers.
- Java/JVM and/or Python experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, collaboration, and technical discussion skills, with comfort operating in ambiguity.
