Base Salary
$180k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build low-latency live media pipelines for raw streaming data.
- Maintain and improve meeting agents that join and capture Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams calls.
- Debug real-time connections with third-party meeting providers and build monitoring and alerting.
- Tune FFmpeg and GStreamer processing pipelines for cost efficiency, quality, and latency.
- Improve the storage and downstream handoff of raw audio and video.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver data-driven features and communicate technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proven experience building software solutions that perform at scale.
- Technical breadth across backend, frontend, DevOps, or data engineering, with willingness to work across domains.
- Adaptability, curiosity, creativity, resilience, self-reliance, and strong communication skills.
- Preferred: experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure, including autoscaling and resource optimization for large systems.
- Preferred: proficiency with WebRTC, MoQ, FFmpeg, and GStreamer.
- Preferred: in-depth knowledge of HTML/CSS and browser rendering.
- Preferred: experience in a startup or fast-growing environment.
