Responsibilities
- Build and maintain scalable data ingestion, transformation, feature engineering, inference, analytics, and reporting pipelines.
- Design, deploy, and maintain end-to-end ML systems, including model packaging, registration, versioning, deployment, and serving.
- Build and optimize batch and real-time inference pipelines across cloud and on-premises environments.
- Implement workflow orchestration, deployment pipelines, monitoring frameworks, and reusable ML platform components.
- Collaborate with data scientists, product teams, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into production-ready AI/ML solutions.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, participate in code reviews, and improve reliability and operational efficiency.
- Ensure AI/ML solutions meet security, governance, privacy, and organizational standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information systems, or a related field, or equivalent years of experience in lieu of the education requirement where applicable.
- At least 2 years of experience in software development or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience implementing solutions through iterative software development life cycles.
- At least 2 years of experience with frontend technologies, middleware, database technologies, or DevOps.
- Preferred experience developing production software and AI/ML applications with large datasets, data engineering, and data/ML pipelines.
- Experience with live inference, batch inference, model serving, model registries, model versioning, and MLOps tools.
- Experience with retail forecasting, business forecasting, or time-series forecasting is preferred.
- Experience with data quality and integrity, technical documentation, business systems, cloud platforms, software engineering practices, SQL, Python, PySpark, big data technologies, analytics databases, visualization tools, and Git is preferred.
