Responsibilities
- Create, execute, maintain, and validate programs for data transfer, integration, summarization, reporting, and database combination.
- Generate and validate clinical listings, tables, and figures using SAS.
- Serve as lead programmer on selected moderately complex clinical studies.
- Collaborate with project leaders, client representatives, and multidisciplinary clinical trial teams.
- Develop project goals and timelines and manage assignments to meet deadlines and quality standards.
- Provide quality control review for statistical programming.
- Train and mentor junior team members.
- Support departmental training materials, policies, working practice documents, SOPs, conferences, meetings, and bidding activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematics, or a related field, or an equivalent relevant academic/vocational qualification.
- At least 6 years of relevant experience in statistical programming, clinical programming, or a related field.
- Experience supporting clinical trials in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or CRO industry.
- Strong SAS programming experience and knowledge of one or more programming languages.
- Understanding of relational database structures and complex data systems.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments, collaborate with teams and clients, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, attention to detail, leadership, and mentoring skills.
- Proficiency in English and ability to capture biostatistical metrics and perform quality control review.
