Base Salary
$150k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design high-level software architecture for vehicle integration and test operations.
- Coordinate across teams to create software testing infrastructure.
- Integrate flight software into test infrastructure with ground software teams.
- Design scalable test code for various testing campaigns.
- Refine specifications from electrical engineers for critical flight components.
- Support all development phases from proposal to successful test and flight.
- Guide large test campaigns by creating necessary tools and mentoring junior engineers.
- Assist in recruiting and hiring additional team members.
- Participate in a rotating on-call shift to troubleshoot flight and production issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python or other high-level object-oriented scripting languages.
- Experience designing software systems and test architectures/tooling/frameworks.
- Familiarity with Linux and shell command line tools.
- Passion for building and hands-on design in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
