Responsibilities
- Drive technical strategy, implementation, and platform integration across multiple teams.
- Lead the dynamic authorization roadmap and strategic technical direction.
- Align stakeholders on architectural improvements and strategic investments.
- Identify business and technical opportunities across the company.
- Drive execution through strategic, technical, and organizational complexities.
- Write code for high-priority projects and lead by example as a hands-on technologist.
- Recruit and develop engineering talent.
- Contribute to cross-company engineering initiatives and raise standards for design, development, and operational excellence.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field.
- 12+ years of professional software development experience, or 10+ years with an advanced degree.
- 5+ years of experience leading technical projects.
- Hands-on expertise designing and developing large-scale distributed systems.
- Recent experience with security, IAM, or related technologies.
- Proven ability to work across teams to deliver mission-critical systems and large-scale services.
- Deep understanding of cloud computing platforms, software development practices, CI/CD, and operational excellence.
- Preferred: master’s or PhD in computer science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: hands-on experience building security protocols or IAM systems.
- Preferred: experience with Infrastructure as Code, Kubernetes, gRPC, and Istio.
- Fluent communication in English, Korean, or both.
