Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain libraries, components, backend services, databases, APIs, and tools for computer vision applications.
- Develop data processing pipelines and machine learning model training infrastructure.
- Analyze business requirements and design new functionality by breaking complex requirements into concrete components.
- Research technologies and methodologies to address technical issues and improve existing software solutions.
- Build and maintain cloud-hosted services, reusable code libraries, and API extensions while improving reliability, efficiency, and time-to-market.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional experience with Python; experience with other programming languages is a plus.
- At least 3 years of professional experience managing larger projects from conception to maturity.
- Experience with web API frameworks such as Flask and FastAPI, and API specifications or technologies such as OpenAPI and gRPC.
- Familiarity with cloud service providers, especially AWS.
- Solid knowledge of containerization technologies and processes.
- At least 3 years of professional experience with relational and non-relational databases.
- Knowledge of machine learning and deep learning application lifecycles.
- Strong communication, organizational, problem-solving, and independent and collaborative working skills.
