Base Salary
$73k - $174k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop Apache Camel and Camel Quarkus integration routes.
- Design Kafka-based integration flows and event-driven solutions.
- Build cloud-native Quarkus microservices.
- Deploy and manage applications on Kubernetes using Helm and Kustomize.
- Integrate ERP, Oracle, SAP, and supply chain platforms.
- Implement routing, aggregation, retry, and dead-letter integration patterns.
- Develop automated testing strategies and support CI/CD pipelines, GitOps processes, and containerized deployments.
- Troubleshoot and optimize production integration platforms while collaborating with platform engineering, infrastructure, application, business, and client teams.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of IT experience and 5 or more years of enterprise integration development experience.
- Hands-on Apache Camel experience, preferably with Camel Quarkus, plus strong Java and/or YAML DSL knowledge.
- Experience with Enterprise Integration Patterns, Quarkus fundamentals, Kafka architecture, and Kubernetes deployments.
- Experience integrating ERP, Oracle, SAP, and related enterprise systems.
- Knowledge of correlation IDs, idempotent receivers, batch processing, and distributed transactions.
- Experience with Quarkus/Camel testing frameworks, Testcontainers, Kafka testing, CI/CD pipelines, GitOps, Docker, and Git.
- Experience with Temporal.io or similar workflow orchestration platforms and Strimzi Kafka.
- Familiarity with OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, Jaeger, Loki, or ELK, along with observability, monitoring, and production support.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and collaboration skills, plus experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
