Responsibilities
- Develop automated functional and performance tests alongside feature development using AI tools and test frameworks.
- Use LLMs to create feature test plans, internal knowledge stores, and AI workflows for test automation and failure analysis.
- Enable developers to test features using existing automation, evaluate test failures, and troubleshoot environment issues.
- Execute tests in disposable environments by deploying microservices with different versions and configurations and customizing database content.
- Configure, patch, and deploy services, infrastructure, and code changes through production.
- Analyze logs and reproduce production issues in non-production environments.
- Collaborate with the QA platform team on feature validation and test automation solutions.
Requirements
- Develop test automation in Java using Selenium or Playwright and use IDEs such as IntelliJ or Eclipse.
- Experience deploying services in environments such as Kubernetes with tools including ArgoCD and Jenkins.
- Experience improving test infrastructure with Docker, Playwright, and headless browser execution.
- Familiarity with log aggregators such as SumoLogic or Kibana and monitoring tools such as Honeycomb or Grafana.
- Passion for test automation and delivering high-quality features in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfort working with Agile methodology.
- English is required for interaction with staff at Upgrade offices worldwide.
