Base Salary
$174k - $239k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop music and voice processing algorithms in MATLAB and Simulink.
- Implement audio algorithms as embedded software across multiple computing architectures.
- Develop comprehensive unit-level and system-level tests to verify algorithm functionality.
- Collaborate with research teams to move acoustic concepts from prototype to product implementation.
- Partner with audio engineers globally to create automotive and other high-quality sound experiences.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering with a software focus; a master's degree is preferred.
- Deep knowledge of signal-processing fundamentals, including algorithm design and implementation.
- Deep hands-on experience with MATLAB/Simulink modeling and libraries.
- At least 8 years of experience developing real-time DSP software, including technical leadership responsibilities.
- Strong C and C++ skills and proficiency with one or more scripting languages.
- Hands-on experience developing on DSP platforms such as Hexagon, SHARC+, and HiFi.
- Strong software development skills, including object-oriented design, modularity, extensibility, reusability, and maintainability.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical documentation.
- Experience using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and emulators.
- Experience with streaming audio, asymmetrical multi-core SoC processors, or the automotive industry is preferred.

- Hiring range is $174,000-$239,250 for the primary work location in Framingham, Massachusetts; ranges may vary by location.
