Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design and implementation of scalable application architecture.
- Own onshore alignment and provide structured updates on progress and risks.
- Drive the adoption of best practices in software engineering, focusing on DevOps.
- Oversee modernization efforts and maintain legacy applications with minimal disruption.
- Ensure compliance with SOC2 controls in daily workflows.
- Set high standards for code quality and guide the team through peer reviews.
- Work across teams for seamless integration and deployment of applications.
- Assist in architectural design and implement key initiatives.
- Continuously assess and improve system performance and drive root cause analysis.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in software engineering.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in software engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in SaaS application development.
- Working knowledge of VB.NET and proficiency in multiple programming languages preferred.
- Experience with SOC2 type2 certification in SaaS products is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to architect, design, build, and integrate software systems.
- Strong understanding of software architecture patterns and DevOps practices.
- Experience leading hybrid onshore and offshore software engineering teams is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with stakeholders.
