Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Own the full identity-verification ML stack, including document authenticity, face matching, liveness, presentation-attack, and deepfake/injection detection.
- Build GNN-based identity-graph systems to detect synthetic-identity rings and coordinated fraud.
- Develop real-time behavioral and device-intelligence models for session anomalies, bot-versus-human classification, and device-fingerprint risk scoring.
- Lead vendor ML strategy through benchmarking, dynamic provider and geography routing, and an in-house evaluation layer that detects regressions.
- Lead and mentor senior and mid-level engineers and align ML system design with ML Platform and Risk ML teams.
Requirements
- 8+ years deploying production machine-learning systems at scale, with technical leadership of cross-team ML architecture from design through production.
- Identity verification, biometrics, or account-integrity experience with applied ML expertise in at least two of computer vision/biometrics, GNNs, sequence models, or NLP/LLMs.
- Expert-level Python and production experience with TensorFlow or PyTorch, including model training, evaluation, and serving infrastructure.
- Experience translating KYC/AML requirements and fraud trends into ML roadmaps and communicating trade-offs to Product, Compliance, Risk, and Security stakeholders.
- Ability to use generative AI responsibly with human oversight to improve workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.
