Responsibilities
- Collaborate with teams across Apple on training, qualifying, deploying, and serving machine learning and generative AI models.
- Design and refine systems and APIs for machine learning and generative AI.
- Understand and adapt new model architectures to the constraints of their execution environments.
- Participate in feature design, implementation, maintenance, bug fixing, testing, and performance optimization across the software development lifecycle.
- Diagnose and resolve customer-reported issues and help define policy with leadership across Apple.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of operating system architecture and systems programming fundamentals.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent software design, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply cutting-edge research to tangible applications.
- Professionalism and ability to deliver solid work on tight schedules.
- Development experience for iOS and/or macOS.
- Development experience with Python.
- Background architecting and building data or machine learning platforms.
