Responsibilities
- Build and improve mobile, web, and desktop applications that help patients manage chronic illness.
- Develop product features, tweaks, and bug fixes across the software development lifecycle.
- Design, build, and deploy scalable backend systems using Google Cloud Platform services.
- Integrate internal and external systems through third-party APIs and maintain reliable data flow.
- Define success metrics, support experimentation, and use analytics to guide technical decisions.
- Collaborate with Product, Care, Enrollment, data, and engineering teams to improve patient and business experiences.
- Practice continuous integration and deployment and improve the team’s development toolset.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to design, build, and maintain integrations across complex systems, databases, and third-party APIs.
- Skill in defining metrics and using data to guide engineering decisions and prioritize work.
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills with Product, Care, and Enrollment teams.
- Patient-first approach with strong usability, empathy, quality, and product judgment.
- Passion for continuous learning, ownership, and improving software engineering craft.
