Base Salary
$146k - $182k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical design and delivery of AI-native accessioning automation services.
- Build and ship solutions independently in a high-autonomy environment.
- Apply AI technologies to address accessioning challenges.
- Own product outcomes by collaborating with operations and engineering teams.
- Integrate AI services with existing mature systems.
- Establish engineering best practices for the new team.
- Evaluate and implement new AI tools and models.
- Mentor peers to enhance technical quality and best practices.
Requirements
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- 10+ years of software engineering experience with production systems.
- Proven ability to deliver AI-powered features in production.
- Experience with modern AI-assisted development tools.
- Strong backend engineering fundamentals including REST APIs and microservices.
- Proficiency in at least one modern backend stack, preferably Python.
- Experience integrating third-party AI/IDP platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to work fast and independently.
- Product mindset focused on business outcomes.
- Excellent communication skills for explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
