Responsibilities
- Build and deliver high-quality, accessible and performant web experiences using React, Next.js and TypeScript.
- Contribute to front-end architecture, web platform evolution and engineering standards.
- Own initiatives from concept through production support while helping ensure service reliability, availability and security.
- Drive automated testing, observability, continuous delivery and modern engineering practices.
- Mentor and coach engineers and help grow technical capability across the team.
- Facilitate technical discussions and influence complex engineering decisions.
- Collaborate with marketing, design, security, architecture, platform, backend engineering and business stakeholders.
Requirements
- Extensive software engineering experience focused on front-end web development.
- Strong commercial experience with React, JavaScript and TypeScript, plus experience building and supporting Next.js applications.
- Deep knowledge of HTML, CSS, responsive design and modern browser technologies.
- Experience with API-driven architectures, including REST and/or gRPC services.
- Knowledge of automated testing, CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices.
- Experience working in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong understanding of performance, scalability, security and observability principles.
- Proven ability to mentor engineers and influence technical direction.
- Understanding of accessibility standards, including WCAG 2.1 AA or higher.
- Experience in Agile environments, with strong communication, stakeholder management and cross-team collaboration skills.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery.
