Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and test robot software platform features, including OTA delivery, firmware update flows, and embedded Linux systems.
- Integrate, debug, and validate software updates across software and hardware layers on real robot hardware.
- Improve the reliability, security, and scalability of software deployment across the robot fleet.
- Measure the impact of work and share results and recommendations with the team.
Requirements
- Be a rising senior or recent graduate in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, graduating within one year.
- Have strong programming skills in C, C++, Rust, or Python.
- Have experience with Linux and networking fundamentals.
- Bonus qualifications include experience with Yocto, RAUC, SWUpdate, firmware development, bootloaders, hardware bring-up, applied cryptography, code signing, PKI, or secure boot.
