Base Salary
$132k - $252k/yr
Responsibilities
- Participate in software requirements, design, development, testing, integration, documentation, and enhancement of applications and systems.
- Design, code, test, integrate, and document software solutions.
- Review software components and systems internally.
- Collaborate with project managers and other Engineering professionals.
- Follow established development practices and processes for software configuration management.
Requirements
- Typically requires a STEM degree and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience.
- Experience developing in modern programming languages such as C++ in a Linux environment.
- Working knowledge of data structures and their efficient use in solving problems.
- Experience with one or more scripting languages such as Python.
- Experience with containerized software and tools such as Kubernetes, Helm, and Podman.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. government-issued TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph; U.S. citizenship is required.
- Preferred qualifications include multithreading, TCP/IP, Qt, user-interface development, Angular, embedded software design, hardware integration, Git, makefiles, CMake, Kafka, RESTful APIs, gRPC, telecommunications or signal-processing concepts, and ITU standards.
- Preferred candidates have experience working both independently and in team environments, and an active and transferable TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
