Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable backend solutions in Go for a high-load, business-critical sportsbook platform.
- Contribute to architectural, infrastructure, and other strategic technical decisions.
- Collaborate with the team on planning and workflow using Scrum.
- Conduct code reviews and document code.
- Write clean, testable implementations and corresponding unit tests.
- Support system reliability, performance, data integrity, and long-term maintainability.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of professional software development experience.
- At least 4 years of recent programming experience with Go as the primary language.
- Strong understanding of Go internals, including data structures, multithreading, memory management, and garbage collection.
- Experience with relational databases and writing and optimizing complex SQL queries.
- Solid knowledge of Linux and containerization with Docker.
- Experience writing testable code and unit tests.
- Experience working with Kafka and Kubernetes.
- Intermediate English and Upper-Intermediate Russian.
- Experience developing applications in finance or other data-integrity-critical fields is preferred.
- Knowledge of distributed applications, microservice architecture, PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, or modern backend design approaches is preferred.
