Responsibilities
- Collect requirements and document business processes and configurator specifications.
- Translate stakeholder requirements into technical specifications and implementation plans.
- Build new product configurators and maintain existing configurators using BML, BMQL, SOAP, REST, JavaScript, and CSS.
- Develop and debug cloud-based CPQ solutions and integrate CPQ modules with surrounding enterprise systems.
- Collaborate with Sales Operations, Product Offering Managers, Marketing, Engineering, stakeholders, and development teams.
- Test and proof configuration models before release and support streamlined, reliable, and available CPQ processes.
- Communicate requirements, problems, opportunities, and proposed solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Support continuous improvement of user experience, sales effectiveness, and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience with CPQ platforms such as Salesforce CPQ, Oracle CPQ, or similar.
- Experience collecting, writing, and maintaining configurator specification documentation.
- Experience building complex product configurators and maintaining existing configurators.
- Experience with cross-functional system integrations and highly cross-functional environments.
- Strong experience with SaaS applications, including developing, extending, and debugging cloud-based solutions.
- Hands-on expertise with REST and SOAP APIs is required.
- Ability to work with shifting priorities in a flexible and adaptable manner.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to collaborate across cultural and geographic diversity.
- Experience working in an agile development environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- ServiceNow experience is preferred but not required.
- Oracle CPQ certification is preferred but not required.
- Manufacturing environment experience is preferred but not required.
