Responsibilities
- Gather and refine CPQ configuration and commerce requirements with business analysts and Product Offering Managers.
- Design, develop, implement, and maintain scalable Oracle CPQ solutions for product configuration, pricing, approvals, and quoting workflows.
- Configure complex product models, including BOM-based configurations, system configuration, data tables, pricing rules, approval routing, and commerce processes.
- Build and support CPQ integrations with CRM, ERP, and other enterprise platforms using REST, SOAP, SOA, and file-based exchanges.
- Support ASP.NET Core and C# middleware and services, contribute to API development, and assist with integration monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Resolve complex technical issues and optimize CPQ performance, usability, reliability, and process efficiency.
- Create and execute test scripts for enhancements and project initiatives.
- Support new product introductions by advising on configuration structures and system alignment.
- Provide informal mentorship and technical guidance to junior developers.
- Document technical designs, runbooks, and integration contracts and contribute to knowledge sharing and reuse.
- Ensure solutions comply with enterprise architecture, security, governance, and integration standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 4–6 years of hands-on experience implementing and supporting Oracle CPQ (BigMachines) or comparable CPQ platforms.
- Strong expertise in commerce configuration, complex product configuration, BOM modeling, system configuration, data tables, advanced pricing rules, approval routing, BML, BMQL, SOAP, REST, JavaScript, and CSS.
- Experience integrating CPQ with CRM and ERP systems and supporting REST/SOAP integrations.
- Experience with SOA architecture and middleware integrations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, ownership, and organization skills.
- Ability to independently manage development tasks and deliver quality solutions within defined project scope.
- Preferred experience with Oracle Sales Cloud CRM, Oracle EBS, PD/PIM, middleware platforms, Angular modules, SharePoint integrations, manufacturing product configuration, Nintex/K2 workflows, Snowflake or modern data platforms, Agile environments, secure API design, OAuth/JWT, and enterprise security standards.
