Responsibilities
- Build integrations and interfaces of varying complexity across different business domains.
- Provide middleware expertise and build scalable web services, APIs, and microservices.
- Lead proof-of-concept development and support multiple project streams.
- Mentor and lead integration engineers for projects.
- Collaborate with teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to develop and implement high-quality solutions.
- Participate in business discussions and pursuits focused on business needs.
- Analyze requirements and build scalable solutions.
- Report risks, issues, and test statuses to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or three years of progressive specialty experience in lieu of each year of education.
- Five or more years of IT development experience.
- At least one year of integration or API development experience.
- Strong experience as an integration engineer on large digital transformation projects involving complex landscapes.
- Experience with on-premise and cloud middleware systems such as Tibco, Oracle SOA, BizTalk, Oracle Integration Cloud, or MuleSoft.
- Experience building complex interfaces, APIs, and microservices using middleware platforms.
- Experience with API gateway systems such as Apigee or Azure API.
- Working knowledge of Swagger and OpenAPI.
- Knowledge of PaaS technology, industry best practices, patterns, and standards.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, including collaboration with multiple teams and vendors.
