Base Salary
$57k - $109k/yr
Responsibilities
- Work on research and development projects involving AI-based planning and scheduling, novel compiler capabilities, and operating-system technologies.
- Design and develop prototype software using open-source technologies.
- Receive and incorporate feedback from end users, field tests, and exercises.
- Collaborate with colleagues to explore technical possibilities and deliver practical solutions to complex problems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or another STEM major obtained by the start date.
- Experience with Java and/or C, Linux, basic networking, and cloud integration.
- Experience with distributed systems, middleware, and AI.
- U.S. citizenship is required, and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance is required.
- An active and existing DoD Secret security clearance is required after day one.
- Preferred qualifications include creative problem solving, experimental design, strong oral and written communication, and the ability to work self-directed as part of a team.
