Base Salary
$150k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the patient-facing AI conversation loop and agent systems end to end.
- Diagnose failures in patient AI conversations and ship fixes to prevent recurrence.
- Build and maintain agent infrastructure, including tool integrations, evaluation systems, and retrieval systems.
- Automate recurring clinic-side manual workflows through code.
- Handle patient-facing interactions empathetically when the AI falls short and translate them into product insights.
- Make architectural decisions independently with minimal oversight.
Requirements
- Experience building and shipping LLM or agent systems end to end through professional roles, personal projects, research, or open source.
- Hands-on experience with agent infrastructure, including evaluations, retrieval, and tool integrations.
- Strong computer science and math fundamentals; elite academic signals are a plus.
- A demonstrated automation mindset and track record of removing recurring manual workflows through code.
- Warmth, empathy, and ability to extract product learnings from patient conversations.
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-moving environment with minimal supervision.
- Existing US work authorization; visa sponsorship is not available.
- Proficiency in Python or an equivalent language for building agent infrastructure.
