Responsibilities
- Design, build, and scale high-performance software while driving architectural best practices across the R&D organization.
- Research cloud, SaaS ecosystems, and AI agents to develop proactive detection models, mitigation strategies, and threat intelligence.
- Improve code quality, testing standards, system monitoring, and documentation across teams.
- Partner with Product and R&D to translate complex security requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Identify and resolve systemic performance bottlenecks and architectural challenges.
- Mentor engineers and drive engineering standards and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- 7+ years of software engineering experience, ideally in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
- Hands-on experience in security product development, security research, or threat/incident response.
- 4+ years of hands-on Python experience focused on backend architecture and scalable systems.
- Track record of designing, building, and operating large-scale, complex distributed systems.
- Deep understanding of software design patterns, system architecture, and technical leadership.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts across teams.
- Experience with Snowflake or other modern data warehousing platforms is preferred.
- Hands-on AWS experience and familiarity with modern cloud-native architectures are preferred.
