Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of complex systems spanning multiple projects or teams.
  • Own technical direction and ensure solutions are scalable and maintainable.
  • Review and guide complex technical work while improving quality and consistency.
  • Partner with engineers on best practices and shared technical approaches.
  • Mentor engineers across levels and provide practical guidance and feedback.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex, high-impact technical issues.
  • Contribute to team practices, tools, and long-term technical direction.

Requirements

  • Bring strong technical depth and experience building and scaling production systems.
  • Demonstrate the ability to guide technical decisions and influence others without formal authority.
  • Have experience designing systems for long-term maintainability.
  • Be comfortable balancing hands-on engineering with supporting and guiding others.
  • Communicate clearly and simplify complex ideas.
  • Have deep experience in at least one area such as backend systems, mobile development, web development, or cloud infrastructure and scalable system design.
  • Hold a High School Diploma or GED and a required bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
  • Have at least 7 years of related work experience.
  • Have a track record of delivering complex systems and supporting other engineers.
  • Be able to work independently and serve as a technical leader within a team.
