Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of complex systems spanning multiple projects or teams.
- Own technical direction and ensure solutions are scalable and maintainable.
- Review and guide complex technical work while improving quality and consistency.
- Partner with engineers on best practices and shared technical approaches.
- Mentor engineers across levels and provide practical guidance and feedback.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex, high-impact technical issues.
- Contribute to team practices, tools, and long-term technical direction.
Requirements
- Bring strong technical depth and experience building and scaling production systems.
- Demonstrate the ability to guide technical decisions and influence others without formal authority.
- Have experience designing systems for long-term maintainability.
- Be comfortable balancing hands-on engineering with supporting and guiding others.
- Communicate clearly and simplify complex ideas.
- Have deep experience in at least one area such as backend systems, mobile development, web development, or cloud infrastructure and scalable system design.
- Hold a High School Diploma or GED and a required bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
- Have at least 7 years of related work experience.
- Have a track record of delivering complex systems and supporting other engineers.
- Be able to work independently and serve as a technical leader within a team.
