Base Salary

$85k - $184k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop foundational knowledge of distributed systems, cloud technology layers, dependencies at scale, and infrastructure code.
  • Contribute to incremental improvements in product availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, and performance.
  • Test changes that optimize code and improve platform, system, or product operability with guidance from other engineers.
  • Participate in code and design reviews, regular engineering meetings, on-call rotations, and incident response.
  • Use existing tools and automation to manage production changes and troubleshoot availability, reliability, performance, and efficiency issues.

Requirements

  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • An active U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance is required.
  • Candidates must satisfy applicable Microsoft, customer, and government security screening requirements and verify U.S. citizenship.
  • Preferred qualifications include a bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of technical experience, or 3+ years of technical experience, in software engineering, network engineering, or systems administration.
