Base Salary

$262k - $354k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Own the multi-year technology vision and strategy for Fintech agent-readiness across capability exposure and repository contribution readiness.
  • Define integrated architecture spanning Capability Spec, Unified Fintech API, MCP tools, dependency mapping, agent-authored pull requests, and agent-driven testing.
  • Drive reuse, clarify ownership, and establish technical standards across Fintech and adjacent Intuit domains.
  • Make and document long-term technology decisions, resolve ambiguous problems, and guide multiple teams toward solutions new to Intuit or the industry.
  • Represent the agent-readiness strategy to leadership, Product, Compliance, and external industry audiences.
  • Mentor and calibrate Staff and Senior Staff engineers while developing the next generation of technical leaders.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of software engineering experience with a track record of owning technology strategy for a domain.
  • Principal-level experience setting multi-year technical vision across multiple teams or a company-wide initiative.
  • Deep experience with API platforms, OpenAPI and REST design, schema-driven code generation, MCP, agentic tool-calling, and repository contribution tooling.
  • Experience defining architecture across domain and organizational boundaries.
  • Experience establishing company-wide technical standards or platform strategy adopted by other organizations.
  • Strong fintech knowledge in areas such as payments, lending, payroll, or wallets, including safety and compliance requirements.
  • Track record of mentoring technical leaders and participating in calibration, hiring, and talent reviews.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence leadership, engineering, product, compliance, and external stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
