Base Salary
$140k - $207k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect, implement, and maintain high-scale services.
- Build responsive, performant, AI-driven APIs for Docusign customer experiences.
- Develop systems to identify and block bots, spam, fraud, denial-of-service threats, and other suspicious behavior.
- Analyze abuse patterns and implement real-time risk evaluation systems, including machine learning models.
- Improve developer efficiency through engineering best practices, automation, and delivery tooling.
- Use telemetry and data analysis to troubleshoot complex problems and reason about system scalability and failure modes.
- Work across the technology stack, including network protocols and database performance.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software development experience with a bachelor’s degree, or 3+ years with a master’s degree.
- Experience with backend languages including C#, Go, Java, or Node.js.
- Experience with frontend frameworks and technologies including React, Angular, Vue.js, TypeScript, or JavaScript.
- Experience querying and modifying relational databases.
- Experience consuming SOAP and RESTful web service APIs.
- Professional experience using AI-assisted development tools in the software delivery lifecycle.
- Preferred qualifications include high-priority production debugging, Node.js development, AI-assisted tooling for issue triage and log analysis, and contributing to safe AI usage guidelines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment are preferred.
